Sony PlayStation, Devolver Digital, Massive Monster, Fellow Traveller, Ultra Players, Team 17, Raw Fury, Akupara Games and Shueisha Games have now joined Meta, Landfall Games and Kepler Interactive to search for the next big games to come out of Australia. Some of the hottest digital game developers from across Australia will be delivering their original pitches to leading international publishers, platform holders and investors, with an impressive suite of major players joining the program. Melbourne International Games Week kicks off next week, with Thursday 5 October marking the official opening of Play Now Melbourne – the inaugural international games market which is set to become the pre-eminent trade gateway to the world of Australian games.
